Bag Limit Custom Calls first started in January of 2008 by Shawn Thomson. Shawn being an obsessed Turkey Hunter for over 20 years, was recovering from neck surgery, when he had 12 weeks to kill. He started pickin up callers and seeing the potential for improvement. Dissatisfied with the quality of the callers he had picked up he started making his first pot calls and strikers.
Hunting Turkeys on public land the majority of the time, Shawn designed the calls to have superb sound. He uses fine woods, and crafts them into callers designed to be past down from generation to generation. Though the call looks and sounds great, the design is for practicality purposes and that is to get a no slip grip.
